Squirtle Plushie Commission by GlacideaDay Squirtle Plushie Commission by GlacideaDay
Squirtle Plushie commission for :iconzsparky: I think it looks cute without the mouth and nose, but if you want me to add it, I'll do it ^^;

I love the way the shell came out. I used a special kind of felt on it. The Squirtle is surprisngly light.

You're lucky you caught me on my Squirtle obsession round XD

This is amazingly cute and adorable! I've been trying to create a Pokemon plushie for a while but it never seems to turn out right. So do mind me asking how you made the shell and connected the tail?

Your work is amazing, I hope you keep on creating plushies and enjoy it. :3

Thank you so much! I'm glad even my older stuff still inspires! And the tail is attached between the shell and the white line! The shell is two semi-oval shapes with a line of fabric between and a circle at the bottom.

Hello there :D

Firstly, I just wanted to say I really love this, it's adorable :) (I may be a tad bias seeing as Squirtle is my favourite hehe)

Also, I have a question for you. Do you have a pattern for making the tail? I'm planning a Squirtle cosplay for AVCon this year, but I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to make the tail. Well I do have a vague idea, but if you had a pattern I could enlarge and use that would be amazingly helpful :D

Again, great job on this I am in love with it hehe :3

Have a great day,
Britterzbee :)

I would do the basic Tail shape of his tail and then I'd use thread to embroider the swirl. Much easier :D

Ok I think I understood that haha :) well thanks for the answer, not quite what I was hoping for though I don't think it would work as well on a larger scale. It works for this though and it's totally cute :D

However, I think I might be able to work something out, I already have a picture forming in my head. Might keep looking around for more inspiration. Again, thanks so much for the answer :)

I think now I just need to start experimenting. I'm on Uni holidays at my parent's house at the moment so I can't start yet, but I'll be leaving to go back to my place tomorrow. I'm so excited to get started hehe :) maybe I'll put a picture on DA after AVCon and you'll be able to see how it works out :D
